WASHINGTON , D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.

Lakeside Foods, Inc. announced today that it is voluntarily recalling 7500 packages of frozen 14 ounce Kroger Stir Fry Vegetables because they may contain undeclared egg noodles, which contain both wheat or eggs ingredients.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat or eggs run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

The Kroger brand Stir Fry Vegetables were produced by Lakeside Foods in Manitowoc, Wisconsin and are sold in Kroger grocery stores in the following states:  Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and Kentucky.  The recalled packages will have the two-line code of W46124/W610002 printed on the back of the package.

No illnesses have been reported, and no other Lakeside Foods products are involved in this recall.

Kroger employees and retailers are removing the product from store shelves.  Consumers can return the product to their place of purchase for a full refund.  Consumers with questions can contact the company at 800-632-6900.

Reason: Sunny Maid Corp. of Monterey Park, California is voluntarily recalling Mr. Brown 3-in-1 and 2-in-1 POWDERED PACKETS IN BAG COFFEE MIXES, because they are potentially contaminated with melamine.

Date: 8/7/2008
Reason: Product contains Salmonella Saintpaul with the same genetic fingerprint as the strain of bacteria that is causing the current outbreak in the United States.

Reason: King Car Food Industrial Co. used a non-dairy creamer manufactured by Shandong Duqing Inc., China, which was found to be contaminated with melamine.

Reason: LION PAVILION LTD. of 541 Gardner Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11222 is recalling Yulanpian Brand Dried Slices of Tender Bamboo Shoots because it contains undeclared sulfites.
