Potential Number Of Units Affected : 1714
Summary: On certain motorcycles, the front wheel spokes can become loose and break, causing further damage to adjacent components.
Consequence: Such a failure of a front wheel spoke could possibly damage the tire's inner tube, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will install clips to help secure a loose spoke tight to the next crossing spoke. The recall is expected to begin during april 2006. Owners may contact KTM at 1-440-985-3553.
