Reason: On certain passenger vehicles, while performing a repair for recall 04v133000, if the plastic cover is not securely installed to the driver's side support crossmember, the headlight switch wiring harness could come into contact with the crossmember.

Summary:
 On certain passenger vehicles, while performing the remedial repair for recall 04v133000, if the plastic cover is not securely installed to the driver's side support crossmember, the headlight switch wiring harness could come into contact with the crossmember.

Consequence:
 This could lead to an electrical short in the harness, which could lead to a fire in the driver's side dashboard area.

Remedy:
 The manufacturer has not yet provided a remedy or an owner notification schedule for this campaign. Owners may contact audi at 1-800-822-2834.
