Keystone Food Products of Easton, PA is recalling its 4 1/8 ounce packages of "Onion Flavored Rings" food snacks because they may contain undeclared milk. People who have allergies to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The recalled "Onion Flavored Rings" were distributed in retail stores of Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.

The product comes in a 4 1/8 ounce, green and clear plastic package marked with an expiration date of JUN25A stamped on the side.

One allergic reaction has been reported to date in connection with this problem.

The recall was initiated after a customer complaint was received. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by inappropriate handling rework procedures, which resulted in a milk-containing Nacho Tortilla product being incorporated into the Onion Rings.

Consumers who have purchased 4 1/8 ounce packages of "Onion Flavored Rings" are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contac the company at 1800-523-9426.
