WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announces the following recall in voluntary cooperation with the firm below. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.

Name of Product: Milano Counter and Bar Stools

Units: About 3,800

Manufacturer: FDL Inc., of Kokomo, Ind.

Hazard: The recalled stools can be unstable due to missing screws, loose screws or wrongly sized screws, posing a fall hazard to consumers.

Incidents/Injuries: None reported.

Description: The recalled stools have four legs, are made of wood, and have dark brown or black seats. The counter stool is 24 inches tall and the bar stool is 30 inches tall. The stools have item numbers 202448 and 118136, which can be found on the packaging material.

Sold at: Lowe's stores nationwide from October 28, 2005 through May 23, 2006 for about $40.

Manufactured in: United States

Remedy: Consumers should stop using the stools immediately, look for missing or loose screws, and if the stools are unstable consumers should return them to any Lowe's store to receive a full refund.
