ebay paypal new withholding funds policy - Funds are held longer than item delivery and shipping funds are withheld also
Ebay and paypal are withholding funds for sold items past their delivery date.
3 days past delivery. Why? To make money off my money is all I can assume.
They are also withholding funds for 24 hours after the customer leaves positive feedback. Why if the customer is happy is there any reason in the world to withhold my funds? Even if they had a right to after delivery which they don't!
But what I'm sure must be absolutely illegal is that the shipping fees paid by the customer for delivery of the item they purchased is being withheld until the item arrives at the correct location plus 3 more days waiting period.
I cannot use the money the customer paid for shipping until 3 days after delivery. Why? To make money from my money is all I can imagine?
If I was broke and could not put money into the paypal to send the item to my customer he would not recieve the item until I did. Correct. Does this make any since? He paid for his delivery!!!!!!!
If I was mailing 10,000 items at 5 dollars each this would be 50,000 dollars that I would have to put up in order to ship items that were not only paid for but had the shipping paid for by the customer who purchased the items. Who has that kind of funds available? Especially in a small business!
This can't be legal! They are just doing whatever they want to! My accounts were opened before this policy and I believe that even if there is some legality to their madness they should not have the right to mess with somebodys livley hood.
Ebay is the one who offered us a living on their site! Remember!
I see this as another way for a financial entity to screw the little guy and they need some restrictions!
