ebay suspension - Ebay and paypal intensionally misled me and made moves with intension to hurt me financially
I had a friend operating my ebay account and one of my paypal accounts selling my items while I was remodeling my house for rental.
He allowed his girlfriend to use my account without my permission. This led to a complete mess and a number of items not getting shipped of when they were supposed to be.
I was unaware of this until it was well out of control. The paypal account was put in a restricted mode in which I was only able to insert tracking numbers but was unable to use any funds.
When I realized what was happening(when my listings were cancelled) I went to my friends house an hour away and proceeded to pay for all the shipping on a credit card.
I also contacted both paypal and ebay and explained the problem and assurred them that I was getting all of the items packaged and mailed over that day and the following day. I had already inserted tracking and mailed at least 50 of the items by this point.
My friends girl was in the hospital at this time whith heart problems and thus had not responded to the emails regarding the late items. I Also explained this to both entities explaining I would take care of this account completely and had no intention or knowledge of what had happened.
I asked if I could open an ebay account on my other paypal account. So I could list the items that had been cancelled. I was told by both ebay and paypal that this was ok and I have a friend who was standing next to me for both contacts.
I continued that day to mail items. then before the next day they sent emails to all of the people who had purchased on that account recently telling them to file a claim. A large number of the items were paid to the customers as chargeback to me.
The account I opened on the other paypal was allowed to run it's course then sometime in the last 24 hrs was cancelled.
I had an item that was modified by the buyer charged to me even though the customer kept the item(this was not a late item).
I had a customer remove the insides of another item and send his broken stuff back in my case I was charged for this(this was not a late item).
I had numerous items that were delivered and charged back anyway. In general I was attacked by these two entities while trying to resolve the problem.
I know that ebay says no one else should be using your account but there are times when all of us can't be there for numerous things in life. I realize that they have had problems with fraud but when I not only assured them I was taking care of the problem but asked if I could open the other account.
I was lied to in regards to weather or not this would be ok.
This probably cost me 1500 and much frustration from a company I was trying to learn to make a living with. After seeing extensive adds for making a living on ebay.

since writeing the initial complaint I have had extensive trouble with both ebay and paypal. Also an account opened by a family member has suffered due to my problems with these companys.
