Geneva Roth dba Loan Point USA - Unauthorized access to new account
I obtained a loan through LoanPoint USA a couple of momths ago. I had a checking account and they had that account number. SInce then my husband and I started bankruptcy proceedings. I sent a letter to the company telling them that their account was one of th eaccounts that would be listed when we filed. A couple of weeks later, I found an unauthorized ACH withdrawl from a new account at the credit . I did not give them my account number and neither did the credit . They could not tell me how they got the number. I closed my account that day. I have a new account at another financial institution. How am I going to know they can't access that account? I am going to sign papers saying that Geneva Roth, Loan Point USA are not authorized to withdraw ANY money in any amount. My attorney says what they did is illegal (obtaining account numbers illegally) and is looking into suing them.
I have not had problems with any of the other payday loans that received notice of the bankruptcy. I will make sure no firend nor relatives ever use Geneva Roth or their companies.

i'd like to know what you found out because the same thing happen to me. I was put on a payment plan by them and had to make payment thru moneygram. i had paid my account off and hadn't heard from them. my account that the loans was taken out on was closed and i open a new account at a new bank just last week they debited by account and i havent given anyome this account info
