I was hired by Dollar General in May of 2006 I am a Diabetic and recently adopted a child out of Washington State.
The company has worked me more then 80 hours a week even traveling to other stores and working them I used my own car and was not paid for gas moreless the time.
My pay was salary 25,000. a year and when i figured up the pay and the hours I was only making 5.50 an hour and less.
My district Manager didn't not aprove of the adoption and my being a Diabetic and began forcing me out asking me when my husband who is 19 years active duty was going to come down from Fort Hood and pick the child up because I have alot of work to do and I was needed in my store due to holiday season our hours double.
Under the presure of the hours my health has fallen and due stress I left Dollar General. They took my bonuses away I feel cheated. Can you help?

I was told the other day by several of my customers that while in the store asking about where i was the new staff was told that the reason I was not with the company anymore was..' I was stealing money from the drawers' I live in a small town and this hurts my chances for finding a good job I am heated.

If you're also a victim of this company, then submit your own Dollar General complaint letter
