California Highway Patrol - Lied on accident report and made pictures taken on site disappear
I wrecked a 1966 corvette on road construction approximately 8-9 years ago and when the police report came out the road construction was drawn up as being in the bike lane only. There was an entire roll of film taken by the highway patrol at the time of the accident which disappeared. I have witnesses as to the taking of the pictures and I'm sure the reason for the road construction could prove that the road was opened up in the traffic lane. I have no idea what the time limit for something like this is but I still have a 100,000 dollar car in pieces due to this accident. Virtually any accident involveing road construction in which the highway patrol decided against the driver could produce a plaintiff.
