Russo Steele sold my 1966 427 Corvette on 8158 at their Monterey, California, auction for 68,500. I had agreed to remove the reserve of 82,000. in exchange for getting net on the sale.
Car sold as is without any warranty, as is.
Car safety checked by both Corvette Mike
BFE Classics. Knock Off's Dead Hammered tight, by both.
Also the knock off were checked by owner.
Russo did not send check as agreed, 14 days after sale.
We call 3 weeks after the auction, the check was supposed to be issued after 14 days.
We are told by Brian Quinn at the office that we are getting a check, not for the net, but for 65,000., then he says that we are not getting a check because the wheel fell off.
Why weren't we called? This was on 948.
On 96, Drew the owner emails me that this was a near fatal crash.
Gee, I need to call my insurance company, let them know this, even though the car was sold as is.
I called the FTC, Jeff their lawyer called me back.
He said that an as is sale is just the unless there was fraud.
No fraud. Car safety checked, fine. (No warranty on sale.)
Car was sold 815,
Russo claims this happened on 818.
Car was left unattended on 816 in the City parking lot after the sale.
(I have a witness.) Lot is where the cars were parked before sale.
Who knows what happened to the knock off's in between.
Knock off's are now outlawed because they must be checked each time you get in the car. Anyone crook or prankster can loosen them.
CHP does not have a record of anyone calling to tell then.
CHP told me that everyone calls them on their cell phones.
They would not make a report, but they have no record of anyone calling them on this.
Allstate, agreed to pay for the damages, if they are liable, after the sale. Why aren't I getting paid?
Mechanical damages, not being paid for the sale, after Russo Steele, got paid, are 2 separate issues.
My Insurance company called Drew told him that they wanted to see the car for damages.
They were insuring the car for damages liabilities.
Drew told my adjuster that he was not filing any claims with them did not want them to see the car.
He said that he has a Breach of Contract with me.
In his contract he states that if there is mechanical problems, he can keep the money. THIS IS A LICENSE TO STEAL. He refuses to show my insurance company the evidence.
I am the one that has a breach of contract against him.
He is doing this so he can float our money, try to chisel me out of more of the sale price.
He is starting to hurt me Financially Emotionally.
He sold 20,000,000. worth of car at this auction.
He thinks because I am a woman, that I will cave into to his extortion.
I will be asking for 3 times the amount for Fraud,
Punitive damages, et al.
I will be going after your DMV bond.
There is no breach of contract. The car was safe.
My insurance company that insures the car, will take care of this, if indeed they are liable after the car is sold.
The new owner of the car has to also have insurance.
Drew is withholding all of the information that we need like:
Where is the car? Who is the owner?
He has sent a Fed Ex that will be here on the 915, I month after the auction. He sent it super saver on Thurs., so it will be here on Monday. I paid 1200. as an entry fee to his pathetic auction, he cannot even send me any docs overnight, after he knows that I have contacted my insurance company, DMV fraud, The Az Attorney General, etc.
EVERYDAY THAT I DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY HE MUST PAY ME
INTEREST ON THE MONEY, AT MY CREDIT CARD RATE.
I LET THE CAR GO FOR LESS THAN I HAD IN IT AT HIS PATHETIC AUCTION TO PAY SOME BILLS.
I COULD HAVE SOLD THE CAR MYSELF FOR MORE THAN WHAT YOU GOT FOR IT, HAD THE MONEY NOW.
DO NOT EVER LET RUSSO STEELE HAVE YOUR TITLE SIGNED, YOUR CAR. YOU ALSO MUST SIGN AN ARBITRATION AGREEMENT BUT THAT CAN BE VOIDED.
I AM NOT SOME RICH AUCTIONEER THAT JUST MADE A MILLION DOLLARS OR MORE ON THIS AUCTION.
I AM JUST A SINGLE PERSON, THAT OWNED THIS CAR THAT HE IS DEFRAUDING. THE 800 GORILLA VERSUS A LITTLE WOMAN.
