Directv - Unethical practice
I was told by signing the work order I gave Directv access to my account. After two months I was not happy with the service when it rained I had no TV. Any way to make a long story short, this week they took 422 out of my account without any contact with me or consent. When I called the only way to recoup it was to resume service (that I don't want) and then they would keep 100 approx (54 of it I agree about) after I finally got an e-mail for corp on there web site. The bottom line is I never siigned or saw a contract I signed a work order! This practice of just taking from an account is unethical, especially since they do not make you aware when you sign what you are signing! I was not even aware of a contract which I found out was 18 monthsI have not recieved my money back as yet, I was lucky in the fact that I did not have checks out there to bounce, as they did wipe my account out, however other people are experiencing that. This practice must stop! Buyer beware with them, don't get this service
