Martins Supermarket - People in Martins Discriminating people
I had a jar of change and I wanted to cash it at a coinstar. We were going to use the money for food at Mcdonalds. Me and my friend saw a Martins. We went in and he had to go to the bathroom. I was waiting for him. I hear 'Security, check the store' They called security on me for no reason. The security person comes up and asks me if i need help. He started acting really weird right away. I told him i was just waiting for my friend. He goes 'okay'. Then I ask him if there is a coinstar machine nearby. He goes, 'Yes, up front'. We go up front. He keeps watching us. Then it turns out that the machine is closed. We walk back to his car and he locked the keys in his car. We go back in the Martins and then I hear 'Security' again. They came over to us again. I said 'Do you have anything to unlock a car with? My friend locked his keys in the car' He says 'No, we don't got none of that in the store.' We asked him if he had anything we could use. He says'I'll check the back, ill see if we have anything.' We go back to his car to try to unlock it with SOMETHING we could find to unlock it with. The security person comes back out and sits there and watches us. I go, 'Hey, he's back, maybe he found something.' We go over to him, he goes 'No, we don't have anything.' So I told my friend that there must be something in the store to use like a broom to pry the door or something. We go back in the store and we are looking around. They are right behind us and they are following us around. We were just looking for something to buy with our jar of change. So we start walking the other way and both the security person is standing there and there is an older employee working there. He was standing with him. I said, 'you sure you dont have ANYTHING to use?' He says 'We dont got nothing like that in this store.' It was getting really annoying. We were starting to think he was just saying that. I'm sure we could've found SOMETHING. Then as we start to walk out the door, the older guy goes 'Come back in, we call the cops.' FOR NO REASON. I wanted to say 'Call the cops then, MAYBE THEY'LL HELP US!' So we just went out the door. My friend got mad and said 'WHY ARE YOU TREATING US LIKE WE ARE CRIMINALS?' and he started chasing my friend for no reason. The other person had to tell the security to just leave him alone. So he just stayed there. He starts to yell at me and him. He says 'GET OFF THE PROPERTY NOW. I WILL CALL THE COPS ON BOTH OF YOU.' When what, me and him where just STANDING THERE, LOOKING AROUND? I don't see how he can call the cops on us for that. He told us there was a wal-mart 2 blocks up the road. We walk there. It turns out that he did call the police on us because one stopped us. We told him what happened. We drove back to the car with him. The police helped us unlock the car. They were very helpful, unlike some PEOPLE who work in Martins! After that, we just left and went back. Me and my friend were there at 11:30 PM just trying to get money for food. That is when the people work. It was the older worker, he is kind of tall, white hair. There is the security person, he is about 5 11, brown hair. He has a kind of an accent. If you could do something about that, it would be nice. Thanks
