Directv - fraudulent billing
I let a directv customer use my credit card to pay a bill and subsequently their service was terminated and my account was charged 760.11. This caused several overdrafts on my account. I contacted customer service and was told to send my bank statement to a fax number and they would contact me. It has been a week. I called customer service again and was told their 'finance dept.' doesn't have a direct line, I have to wait for them to contact me. I beleive there should be something you can do to companies that regularly take the liberty of taking money from accounts without authorization and I know they do this often enough that their reps are prepared to deal with it.
