BANK OF AMERICA N.A. - CIVIL RIGHTS DEPRIVATION OF CHARACTER,, FALSE ARREST AND HUMILIATION
I RECEIVED A CHECK DEPOSITED IT INTO MY SAVINGS ACCOUNT, FOUR DAYS LATER I RECEIVE A COPY OF THE CHECK AND A LETTER STATING THAT THE CHECK WAS RETURNED 'UNAUTHORIZED' SO BEING A BANK OF AMERICA CUSTOMER I CALLED BANK OF AMERICA AND WAS ADVISED THAT IT WAS TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT DUE TO MY NAME BEING MISPELLED ON THE CHECK, I EXPLAINED THAT MY NAME WASN'T MISSPELLED AND WAS ADVISED TO GO TO THE BRANCH WITH THE COPY, IN WHICH I DID ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER WHO TOOK MY LETTER AND COPY OF THE CHECK WAS GONE SEVERAL MINUTES AND CAME BACK ADVISING ME THAT SHE COULD NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THE CHECK WAS RETURNED AND THAT NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE CHECK......TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT I FINALLY RECEIVED THE ORIGINAL CHECK BACK BY REGULAR MAIL AND WENT TO ANOTHER BANK OF AMERICA BRANCH SPOKE WITH THE MANAGER EXPLAINING THE SITUATION AND HE MALIOUSLY CALLED THE COPS AND HAD ME ARRESTED....MY QUESTION IS IF THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS CHECK WHY DIDN'T ANYBODY TELL ME. AND BEING A BANK OF AMERICA CUSTOMER WHY WAS I TREATED THIS WAY? SO I FILED A CIVIL LAWSUIT
