!st choice property management - Had someone enter residence without consent and they burglerized me and my great grandmas home
I was working in Washington, and living with my great grandma in Oregon. I came home on weekends. She fell ill and was hospitalized. I came back up to washington and while I was gone. They hired someone to come and clean our house as a suprise. We did not give consent and had no knowlede of there plan. The person they hired stole belongongs from our home. When returned home I noticed items missing, I initially thought maybe my grandma had requested them to be brought to hospital ie....jewlery. The more I looked around our house I noticed there was alot missing. My childrens clothing, small antique vanity, perfume, even the metal ice trays in the freezer. I asked the neighbor if she saw anyone at our residence and she said there was a lady there 2 days in a row and she was actually at an apartment in back of our house. I went over questioned her she said she was hired by the property management to to tidy up , I questioned her about belongings she denied knowing anything and then asked for a large ceramic container that belonged to my great great grandma. I called property management comapny who avoided my calls would not return. Also notified police and was told to take to small claims court. My grandmother passed away the next day. She was 94 years old. I emailed !st choice numerous times and explained I was not seeking money, I just wanted belongings back. My childrens clothes, my grandmothers auntiques. Things that were handed down thru generations. from He then said his cleaners are all legitamate employees and all but one were police officers. I stated to him that was bull because it is against the law to enter into a tenants home without prior notice and consent. We were not behind in rent and or anything so they had no right.
