Dollar General - Manager with long hours no overtime
I have worked for Dollar General for over 12 yrs. In that time I have worked management the majority of the time. I started management on hourly pay which was fine. I have been for the last yr on salary, based on 40 -45 hrs a week. Due to payroll I have been working 50-65 hrs a week. When keying in payroll, salary managers only key in 1 hr. I had surgery a year ago, and went back to work 4 weeks later, have worked none stop since and after all the hours I have put in, I gave notice that I was leaving the last day of May. I later agreed to work a few more weeks to get staff trained, I left on June, 26, and the hour that should have been keyed in for that week. The acting manager was told by the District Manager that I could take it up with Coporate. So therefore the hours I worked , I worked for free.
