Credit profile nationwide - Violation Of FCRA
I applied for a job with Vendomatic, Inc of frederick Maryland they never said anything about a credit check. I always order a copy of my credit report once a year and I saw where a company called Guarantee Mortgage Corp showed up on my report that they ordered a copy of my report, I called them and was told that Vendomatic had them to pull my credit.
This company also operates under the name of credit profile nationwide http:www.creditprofilenationwide.com I contacted vendomatic and told them I never gave them permission to order my credit report, Without her knowing what to say...she stated I gave her permission over the phone which is false.
Under the FCRA it states that before an employer or future employer can order your credit report it must have your written permission before hand, I have requested Vendomatic in writing to send me a copy of such written permission but they have failed too.
I also contacted Credit profle Nationwide for the same such info since it states on there website that employers must obtain written permission before report can be ordered.
The owner sent me a letter stating if I pursue this futher his company and Vendomatic would return the favor.
