directv - Over Billing Charging excessisve fees
For the last 4 months we have been going back and forth with Direct TV for over billing and excessive charges on the bill. they sent us a letter back last year to come back to them and made an offer for a so called great deal, We called them on 11302007 and went back to them, they came out on 12032007 to re-install the service and we were given 2 boxes, 1 regular and 1 hi-def. we paid an up front fee of over 21.00 they said was for shipping charges, we signed up for a 34.99 a month deal and we never received what was promised to us. They never gave us the promo's and we were charged the regular monthly fees every month, we changed service and went to another company, since this time we have been harrassed by Direct TV with threatening letters and excessive fees. One bill is for over 900 and we sent the 2 boxes back to them and now they say we still owe them over 400 because we changed services and went to someone else. We never signed a contract and they even agreed to that part. We are not going to pay these fees, we didn't do anything wrong, They are the ones who never lived up to the agreement and never gave us what we agreed on. They owe us. We want to go forward with the class action against them as soon as possible. This makes the forth time we have filled out this form to go forward with this since April, 2008.
