I will never take a loved one or even my dog who I love very much to this hospital. They played God with my loved ones life. They transported an very elderly lady to and from the hospital like a tennis ball. Because of their own poor medical knowledge, their lack of compassion,there own breaking of the oath that all doctors take do no harm, the unethical, inhumane treatment of a human being as a number not a living breathing person that was very much loved I no longer have my loved one the only member of my family I had left. From the first day of the week, she showed signs of a stroke, she was taken for a CAT scan, Tuesday another CAT scan, Wednesday another CAT scan. All the time they were saying it was a kidney infection, I asked over and over and over why cant she swallow, has speech problems, etc OH well in old people they respond different. These so called doctors need to read their own manual they give to the family when a person has a stroke, listen to their own telephone recording that if someone has blurred vision call 911 its a sign of a stroke, we can help you time is of the utmost importance in your loved ones care the national stroke hotline and website that this hospital dares to have recorded and in their own manual. Stanly Memorial can not deny they have a poor rating as compared to other hospital in the area it is on line for anyone to see and read critical care, ER, stroke and other physical conditions are rate poorly.One of there own doctors wanted to send my mother back to the nursing home to die. Actually the nursing home took better care of her, everyone from the cleaning staff, the director the nurses the cnas and other came to see my mom as she was dying they were loving compassionate and very upset over her death. Another doctor was extremely rude to me when I simply requested information. How would you feel Dr. God, VP God of Ambulatory Services, Head of the Hospital God if it was your own mother, father, sister, brother, son, or daughter would they have been treated like just another number just another bed. Where is the TLC is it because she was elderly, on social security, on medicare or do you just not give a tinkers darn about a person thats someones loved one. You need to take a good hard look at how you treat people, how you diagnosis things that a blind man couldnt have missed, I hope it doesnt happen to any of you or anyone else I have you all in my prayers that you will see the error of your ways and put TLC, compassion, intelligence, better intervention, read your own literature or something. This should not have happened I know you are a big company and I am just one small person and you probably have lawyers to cover up your mistakes. David was just a small boy with a sling shot up against a giant yet the Lord gave him just the right rock etc to take down a giant. My mom is healed she is in paradise with God where there is no pain or suffering just joy. How would you like for one of yours to be left to starve to death oh yes as the doctor said shes strong it could take two weeks. We treat our animals better than you do a living human being. This has happened over and over again in your hospital you know it I know it and God knows it. I pray no one else has to go through this ever again. May God lead you to take compassionate, good intelligent care of every patient that enters your doors and lead you to thing when you hear hoof beats it may not be a horse but a zebra. How many more obvious mistakes are going to kill anyone else. Are you just a cooperation that doesnt care because there is no other hospital here or is money all you care about.
