Verizon-NJ - Telephone service bill
Verizon submitted my phone bill to collection agency (CCA) the beginning of February for 159.99. I told them, and contacted Verizon, to tell them I don't owe them a dime. I sent a copy of my February phone bill showing I have a credit balance of 159.99. Verizon told CCA that this was invalid. My March phone bill shows the same credit balance (after I paid my March phone bill). I fired Verizon as my phone carrier over this matter effective on March 17. Today, April 2, I received another call from CCA making the same demands for payment. Today, my balance with Verizon is ZERO. I told CCA if Verizon wishes to send me the credit balance, I will send it to them to pay Verizon, but I will NOT pay the same bill twice.
