I do not feel that a company that is hiring you should have the right to pull a credit report as basis for hiring. Alot of people have had issues on their credit, Does that mean that they should not be considered for a position? You can not tell me that if I have a 750 report that I would be a better employee than those having a 435. I find this a violation of my privacy. I understand pulling a report if I owe them money or am applying for credit but to base my work ethics on this is degrading, and almost states that if it is below a certain level that I would be a dishonest employee. This is happening all over the country and needs to be stopped.
