CCC - Tolal car,, the offer is too low
My vehicle, (a Chrysler LHS, 2000) had been totaled about a month ago in an accident. It was snowy and icy and the indivical wasn’t able to stop her car. Since then contacting Untrin Insurance has failed to come to even the most remote expiations that I had. I have called many times during the weeks leaving messages, with what seamed to be pulling tooth and nail for return phone calls. It took days to get a rental car after I was no longer able to take my mothers for two weeks. I initially had an offer from the insurance rep, which was not sighed off by her manager. After a week of calling, leaving 3 messages, there was finally a return call, today Feb. 14. The offer was down another 200.00. When I spoke my insurance rep she used NADA with a quote of 6650, ok that’s fine. Iv had this car for 3 months and realizes that yes I will take a small loss. When speaking to Untrin their offer is 5600. The company that is used by Untrin is CCC. I looked at what the cars were that they had figured and noted that I hadn’t even seen what they were talking about, for their outside sources. Untrin stated that there were 12 cars that were in my area that was supposed to be used in this estment. I looked at one of the web sites that were noted, found 6 or maybe it was 8 cars, in a 200 mi radius. Then the cars on that web site did not match up with what was noted on the CCC paper that was emailed to me. With the price that was offered is nothing short fall back. I don’t know. I just feel so frustrated. I was wondering about the litigations that is still open with CCC. And how do I see if I can become involved?
