Microsoft - XBOX 360 MAJORLY DEFECTIVE!!
I purchased a Xbox360 from Best Buy about 5-6 months ago. Starting in October or so it started having 'Disc Reading Errors', so I started looking at the bottom of my games, I noticed these circular scratches and other weird scratches. I contacted Microsoft so they could at least repair it or replace it along with replacing my games. They said they would charge me to fix it and would not replace my games. So I just said screw that and went on my way. Now the Xbox has gotten even worse, it takes 30-40 minutes of openingclosing, turning onoff, cleaning the disc, etc.. to get any game to work. I told Microsoft, my Xbox has never been opened, messed with or modded in any way, my console has ALWAYS been on a flat even surface and never moved while it was on, and still I got a response saying dont move your console while on, for the disc reading error please openclose and or leave console off for a few minutes. You can use our disc replacement service to replace your games. They have a list of about 10 games, only made by Microsoft and there is a FEE. I have had to replace numerous games through the original manufacturer for a fee, so on top of what I paid for the game I have to pay shipping to ship it to them, and then a replacement fee?? If you pay over 400 for something it should work PROPERLY!! If not, THE RICHEST COMPANY IN THE WORLD should repair it or replace it!! This has changed my view of Microsoft and its products greatly. If you are planning to purchase a Xbox360, I have to tell you, yeah some of the games were fun, the Xbox live is good but the overall product and service SUCKS!!
