AOL - billed for services not authorised by me,, and billed after cancelation of account
I was improperly billed because my daughter used AOL from her home computer. My daughter logged on to her screen name from her home (not my house) using a phone line. My account was set up as bring your own access (cable in my house). Without notifying her or myself Aol started charging me for this. I did not consent to these charges and my daughter didn't realize there would be charges to me for this. When I got no satisfaction from AOL I canceled. They continued to bill me (withdrawal from my checking account). I had to cancel my ATM card on the advice of a bank manager to prevent this from continuing causing me a great deal of incovience ie: shopping for groceries, etc.
AOL never refunded me for the overcharges.
