Direct TV - Faulty equipment Service
Direct TV set up our satellite service and it has never worked properly, they refuse to come out and fix it. They say we have to pay 70.00 to get a tech out and also tell us we need to buy their service plan for additional 5.99 per month. I beleive they deliver faulty equipment in order to force you into purchasing additional add on's. They say we can cancell but only if we pay 276.00 for cancelling service before 2yrs??? I was not aware that we had to pay this. It is entrapemnt I cannot beleive in this day and age a company can get away with treating consumers like this. I pleaded with them just to fix the dish or cables so it is in working order and then we would consider purchasing additional warrenties, but if a company can't deliver a working product in the first place why should we trust them period! I am so angry that they can get away with this! What happened to a company wanting to stand behind their service and get you up and running before being nasty and saying 'haha you're stuck with us'
