City of Lawrenceville - City votes to DOUBLE EMERGENCY REPONSE TIME
How many residents of Windsor Farms Drive have to suffer from DOUBLED EMERGENCY REPONSE TIME, before our City Council wakes up and realizes that they voted for the closing or Windsor Farms Drive for all the wrong reasons.
Should city tax dollars approximately 125,000 and state tax dollars of 50,000 be used to endanger the resident’s of Windsor Farms?
Our Home Owner Association was told on several occasions by Gwinnet Fire Services that closing Windsor Farms Drive IS NOT A GOOD IDEA for PUBLIC SAFTY. The HOA response was 'there are more important things then EMERGENCY REPONSE TIME.'
When the petition went out to close the street why weren’t the residents of Forest Hills and Windsor Farms told that they
1. Were signing a petition that would DOUBLE the EMERGENCY REPONSE TIME for the residents of Windsor Farms Drive?
2. That City Tax Revenue would be used, thus draining money from other Real Issues, and possibly causing a future tax increase?
There are several other ways to reduce the worries of a FEW residents other than closing Windsor Farms Drive and DOUBLING the EMERGENCY REPONSE TIME.
To the HOA and the City Councilmen that voted for it, your solution is only a solution for DISASTER.
