K-Mart - Shady coupon tactics
I do not even know where to begin, shall I start with the horrible way I have been treated by Kmart, or shall I start with the horrible way they have handles a promotion..... Kmart began a promotion approximately 3 weeks ago; there were tearpads of coupons throughout the store, each coupon states, ' Recieve a FREE 10 Kmart giftcard when you buy any Duracell Saver Pack plus 2 participating PG products' The expiration date is 8132007 and on the reverse side part of the terms and conditions state : ' Limit one per purchase' (in bold letters) Since the start of this promotion many Kmarts have taken it upon themselves to change the terms and conditions of this coupon, some hide the coupons so consumers can not find them, others hand out only one per person, some limit the promotion to one per household. Not only is this completely contrary to the advertisement kmart send out NATIONWIDE but I believe it is a Bait and Switch tactic, a consumer read in the Kmart advertisement about this great deal, and when they get there the deal has been changed drastically, now the consumer no longer wants this deal due to Kmarts arbitrary revisions, but Kmart has gotten them into the store, chances are good that they will by something just because they are already there.... pretty sneaky if you ask me. As an avid coupon user, I am fed up with companies who think they can change the terms that are printed right on the coupon, if a company wants to limit coupon usage to say, for example, 5 coupons per day, fine, make it a store policy, but to change whatever they want on whatever coupons they want should be against the law!
If you're also a victim of this company, then submit your own K-Mart complaint letter
