Originally order computer in July 2006. Blue Hippo requires that you set up an ACH so that your checking account can be automatically debited weekly or bi-weekly the weekly fee that is required to receive your merchandise.Paid an initial 99 and then they started debiting my checking account 39.99 every week. Then went on for some time. I made several calls to Blue Hippo and was told that there was additional paperwork that needed to be sent in, I received this and sent it back as requested. For months I continued to call they said they still needed the paperwork. I was told they had not received it and would they would resend it to me, never received it the second set. Asked to have my order canceled due to lack of service on their part. Whenever I called Blue Hippo I had to wait on hold a minimum of 30 minutes just to get to speak with someone. I finally got tired of dealing with them in December and asked to have my account canceled and my money returned. I was informed that I would be charged a 175 administrative fee for early cancelation. I expressed my feelings towards this kind of charge and was told it was normal procedure. Wanting it to be over and done with asked how soon my money would be returned to me. In December 2006 I was told it would be 7-10 days. It is now March 2007 and I have yet to receive my money. In January 2007 I again called Blue Hippo was told that my account hadn't been canceled but they could process it that day. I was also told that starting in January refund policies had changed it would take 4-6 weeks to get a refund. I called again last week since it had been almost 8 weeks and was told that a supervisor had approved my account to be refunded on March 5th but it would take 4-6 weeks from the time they had approved it. I'm very disgusted with this fiasco and having to constantly call Blue Hippo and run up my cellular bill while waiting on hold just to talk to another incompetent person. I've asked to speak with a supervisor and asked for another phone number to call someone else that could help me. No one could transfer a call or provide another number. Talking to the representatives at Blue Hippo is an absolute waste of time and of your breath.
