Law Offices of Mitchell N. Kay - Constant Harrassment
I tried to work out a payment plan with these people for a debt that I knew I had. They stated that the were not willing to work with me on it and that I had till a certain date to pay the amount or I would be taken to court. I stated to them that they were just gonna have to take me to court since I did not have the money. I figured that I would receive something in writing, but did not. I then get a phone call about a month later and they are saying that they are willing to work with me, of course, on their terms which is something that I cannot currently afford. They keep giving me deadlines to pay off a certain amount of debt which I have continuoulsy told them I can't afford. I have pulled my credit report recently and seen where they have ran my credit about every 2-3 days. Is that legal? I know that by them pulling my credit score it just hurts my credit even more, which will continue to hurt me, when I am back on my feet and need credit for something that is important.
Thanks for any advice yuo can give me
