RCI - the week we owned was remted to annother party and they had confirmed our reservation
We own week 50 at the Cliffs in Peace Canyon which we purchased from RCI,
this was for every other year.We received a form letter asking if we would like to rent it.
We immediately called and told them we planned on using it.They gave us a ccomfirmation
numer and said we were all set.So we purchased our airline tickets and proceeded with
our plans.Two days before we were to leave,we got a call telling us that our yearly dues
were due,so we gave them our credit card number.In the conversation with them we
realized that they had not reserved our week.We called everyone to no avail.They said
there were no other vacancies and there was nothing they could do.So we went anyway.
This was a trip we planned with our grandchildern and we didn't want to disappoint them.
We spent a week cooped up in a hotel room with two kids.The expense of paying for
the hotel and eating every meal out was enormous.We are retired and on a fixed income,
so our vacation was actually ruined by RCI.When we got home we called them and they
told me they are just a brokerage firm and they have nothing to do with the rest of it.
