Shelter Insurance - claims
I had renters, business, vehicle and company vehicle insurance with Shelter insurance. I was robbed by a Terry Lee Moore and his accomplice Becky Moore-Lee. They took personal items from my home totalling over 40,000, stole my work vehicle, and vandalised my home then used checks from my personal account and opened credit cards in my name. All items documented and several police reports made. No arrest to date even though I found Mr. Moore in possession of the vehicle working two miles from my home, the police made him give back the vehicle and a few items stolen from me. NO ARREST. This was 2 months after the incident of theft on 61906. The insurance co issued me a check for a little over 6100.00 no where near the amount of actual stolen items. I cashed the check and before I even returned home they put stop payment on the check causing more havoick. I have gone to the DA's office wanting arrest warrents issued, still none and the insurance co will not tell me a thing about the stop check can anyone help me? I do not have another 6000 to give back to the company that cashed the check for me and now they want me.
