Tina Hurdt City Of Lincolnton NC - Human Resource Director
Tina Hurdt is the Human Resources Director for the city of lincolnton nc.She has an Associate's Degree at least that is what she has posted on her city of lincolnton website, I find it odd search any city records in most all states that have a position open for her job and the requirements are you must have at least a four year college degree.
Another thing that is interesting I know several people with four year degree's applied for position's working in the office of the city who didn't even get an interview. They sent them a letter thanking them for applying but someone more quaified received the position, Yes found out the person they hired has a high school diploma. One person I know who applied had 4yr degree with around 19yrs exper. But guess since they were more quaified and maybe age had something to do with it, Didn't get the position.
One problem with jobs with the city and lincolnton is if you don't know anyone or friends with city employees than you may as well forget about getting an interview much less a job.
Another thing thats interesting is Tina states she has been with the city of lincolnton nc since march of 2000.
But after searching her name on google I found that she was a sub-teacher lincoln county schools during the year 2002-2003. Here is the list SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS FOR 2002-2003

here is what she has posted on her website for the city.Tina has served as Human Resources Director for the City since March 2000. She has an Associate's Degree with a concentration in business and has over 15 years experience in the Human Resources field in local government, as well as the private sector. She and her husband Joe have one son.
Also was interesting to find on google where she has been posting questions to unc server list, education site asking question's about her job like does anyone who work in the human resource field know what the hiring salary is for a fireman in your city, and other questions. Well if she has over 15yrs exper, She should know right?

Fair hiring practice doesn't happen with the city of lincolnton nc, If your friends with tina or go to church with her and don't have a 4 year degree than your chances of getting hired are pretty good. Otherwise FORGET IT.
And if you complain to someone they turn there head and look the other way. I complained to Jeff Emory, City Manager and never heard back from him.
Fred Houser, Councilman Ward I never heard back.
I complained to Mayor Bobby G. Huitt never heard back from him. Seems they all have deaf ears.
