901 Pub - HARRASSMENTDISCRIMINATION
worked there for over 2 months, was constantly harrassed by owner's mother who was manager, I worked as a bartenderwaitress,,,was fully experienced,,,harrassment included 'being of puertorican race',,,was yelled at constantly, on my last day I was sick with strep throat and a high fever and went to work,,i was told by the manager 'i didn't know you was puertorican',,told her i was raised by a ukraine father, and knew very little spanish,,she began speaking to other customers apologizing about 'her son hiring me'...everything I did was wrong according to her, my trainer another waitress told me i was good,,I received a call from the owner stating, I wasnt going to work out and that he is firing me, I stated on what grounds, he never replied to me except saying I don't like the things I am seeing,,, I did write a letter asking him to please inform me of what grounds, he never responded,,,I never took a day off or was late,,my regrister was never short, however on the last day the manager yelled at me for having 3 voids,,the manager was the only one who could do the voids on the regrister, I asked for only one void,,,I believe this women did this to get rid of me, being from NYC and puerto rican,,she did not want me working there...I also learned that they fired other employees and many others quit due to the manager's harrassement of employees, especially not blonde or fair skinned,,,
