Joann - Overcharged
I went into store to shop Xmas sales Dec 26. I spent 165 but was overcharged about 65.00. I bought a christmas arrangement that originally was 79.99 but had the sale price checked and was told 2 times it was 24.99. It rang up at 79.99 plus a few other items didn't ring up at the sales price. I was a bit suprised at the total but put it on my card and walked out. In the parking lot I checked the reciept and noticed the problem, but unfortunately, they just closed.
I walk in with my reciept 2 weeks later and am told that after 7 days they can't do a price adjustment.
So I say ok well then how about if I return the items, and repurchase them.
They tell me the only thing they can do, if I bring the 79.99 item in to return, is give me 19.99 store credit because that is now the sale price.
I have the reciept in hand that I paid 79.99 and they want to give me store credit for 19.99
So I walked out and emailed the corporate headquarters. 3 days and still I have heard nothing!
