Medtronic - pacemaker shorting out
I had a Medtronic pacemaker implanted on 1311997. It is model number 2308L, serial number 18233. On July 11, 2005 it shorted out while I was at work, I couldn't breathe and I blacked out an ambulance was called and I was taken to the hospital where they determined the pacemaker was shocking me.
I was taken to surgery where they removed this pacemaker and implanted a Guidant pacemaker model 1298.
