MBS Management Co inc. - Non Payment for Services Rendered
Pest control services rendered to ther Apartment communities in the Clearlake TX, region 4yrs ago. Have been through a collection agency, Which had a problem after a year the complaint, (MBS) is a major client of the firm. Agent that took my case was unaware of the politics in the office. The owner said they really could not do to much as it would be a conflict of intrest, however, the took the 350.00 deposit to start the collections. After a phone call to the owner he stated that he would get a compromise for me from them. A compromise was reached and the very first check they mailed bounced on my bank which caused havoc with the accounting dept, this was two years ago.
Then the owner of the collection company said that he would send it to a law firm in Lousiana where the MBS Co is home officed to and then he would reframe from further assistance. I retained the lawyer firm at 350.00, and the games continue, updates are that the judge is going to make a ruling any day, to now because of hurricane katrina, potential loss . There is no contesting by the MBS Co, that they owe my company the 15000.00 that is due. Now I am told that there are other companys that are handled by the law firm that are owed monies and the lawyers are talking about cents on the dollar compromise. What is that if rent is do to them there is not any compromies on the money owed they simply evict the client with additional charges for the process.
