Hertz - hertz billed me for the damage that I did not cause.
Hertz rental car in Reno Neveda sent me the mail and claimed that I have damaged the rental car. They request me to pay 296.60 for the damage that I did not cause.
I called the Hertz that I did not cause the damage. I know in my heart that I did not damage it at all. I stayed at Reno Hilton hotel most of the times to play the poker tournaments and drove to the restuarants. there was no snow storms at all except a short snow twice during my stay. Other than that I never cause it. I know in my heart that I did not hit anything. It is my mistake that I did not check the body when i picked it up to rent a car, so I have no way of knowing if it is already damaged or not. I was not pay attention to the body till I dropped it off. It is a minor as like no one notice it.
I strongly believed that it was already damaged before I picked it up. Possible that the hertz worker may have damaged it before I picked it up which Hertz could take advantage of me paying to damage, not their hertz worker. Or possible that it was already damaged and already reported which I cannot know because Hertz will not tell me.
I wondering what shall I do with it ? I still refuse to pay for it because I know I did not damage the car while I rented it.
