GM Protection Plan - Major Guard
We took my husnabd's 2005 Chevy Colorado truck into Don Moore Chevrolet for warranty repairs. It clearly is within it's warrant period. Don Moore called GM Protection Plan and they sent out an adjuster to verify the damage and the adjuster decided the damage was due to water intrusion in the engine and therfore was not covered. We plan to appeal their decision but feel we still will not get this paid for. They seem to be looking for ways to deny claims to save money. There is no evidence of water intrusion because there was none. A rod shattered, at it's thickest point ,and completely desroyed the motor. It should be covered. We've been without this vehicle for a month already with no end in sight.
