Mirena IUD - Seizures due to this thing
I have never had a seizure or a reaction to any medication . I had the Mirena inserted on May 2, 2008 and then 17 days later I was riding down the road and had my 1st seizure went to the local hospital they did ct scans all kinds of brain test found nothing in my system or in my brain that would cause a seizure. On April 4, 2009 I was working at a Relay for Life event and had my second seizure the ambulance took me to one of the best hospitals in Alabama. They did every test they could and didn't find anything. I went back to the neurologist there and had other test run and they still didn't find any reason for me to have a seizure. On April 19th I had my 3rd seizure which caused me to wreck my vehicle and it crushed my mother's leg. With this seizure they took me to a different hospital and did all kinds of test and still couldn't find any reason why I would be having seizures. So finally I decided on August 25th to have the Mirena removed and I have not had another problem and Im not on any medication. Mirena has caused me alot of hospital bills, a wrecked vehicle, and my mother a crushed leg.
