Mirena IUD - 2 surgerys due to this
I also in 2006 in April had an IUD put in. I started bleeding worse then I already did. I went in to have it takenout, they could not find it. So I was scheduled to go get an XRAY to make sure it did not pass. When they saw it still in there I had a hysteroscopy done. During that surgery they did not see it either and called in additional nurses and Doctors to make sure they were not seeing it as well, so I went down to xray only to learn it was still in there and I would have to come back for another surgery 3 days later where this time I would be totaly under. This was a laboscopy. It was then they finally found it and saw with the camers it had torn through my uterus, went through my stomach and was found lodged in my ceaserean scar inside me. I then became preganant and had a misscarriage which I believe due to a weak uterus. I have had pain inside ever since this. To think the hospital wants me to pay for this?? I will pay them..I was so angry when I talked to lawyers about this..no one cared unless they could have a class action lawsuit. I feel Mirena is not safe and should pay me for having to endure 2 surgerys in 3 days..
