Autozone - unfair attendance policy

I was an employee of AutoZone for 13 years and I was recently terminated using this new attendance policy. We had a new manager and district manager take over the store and because I had a failed back surgery and didn’t move as fast as the new manager. The store manager cooked up a plan with the new district manager to get rid of me by un-excusing my excused tardiness that was already approved by the previous manager. They took it upon themselves to go back 2 months when neither one of them were part of this district. I feel that this new policy is unfair because the managers can use it to their advantages and get rid of a lot of good people. Especially managers that are drunk with power.

I was an employee of AutoZone for 13 years and I was recently terminated using this new attendance policy. We had a new manager and district manager take over the store and because I had a failed back surgery and didn’t move as fast as the new manager. The store manager cooked up a plan with the new district manager to get rid of me by un-excusing my excused tardiness that was already approved by the previous manager because he was the one telling me to come in at different times. They took it upon themselves to go back 2 months when neither one of them were part of this district. No one bothered to talk to the old manager or me to find out what was going on. I have witnesses that know of the district manager feelings of wanting to get rid of me and to what was done to me. some of the points they hit me with was because the computer system crashed and I had to clock back in then out. I have the printout of the changes they made and most dont make sense. I tried talking to HR and they didnt even want to talk to me. I feel that this new policy is unfair because the managers can use it to their advantages and get rid of a lot of good people. Especially managers that are drunk with power.
