Tires plus - MisInformation ResultsInflated Charges
About a month and a half ago, while having some brake work done, I requested an inspection of all the brakes. I was told my rear brakes needed over six hundred dollars in work but the front brakes where in good shape according to the gauge reading, which was shown to me and recorded. I still have that record. Now, here a month and a half later, I noticed a serious grinding noise when stopping. I brought my vehicle back to the same service shop where they proceded to inform me my front brakes were now down to the metal on metal stage b ut had no reasonable explanation as to how this kind of wear could occur in such a short period of time. And now since it was metal to metal contact not only did the pads have to be replaced but the rotors were beyond being able to be turned down, a less costly repair, but would have to be replaced, a three hundred dollar plus service. Finally, my question, do I have a case to sue for the re-imbursment of the latest repair cost due to misinfo and how so?
