The original attendance policy issued only ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''write-ups'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' for tardiness and missed days which could be disputed and revoked for good cause, at the managers discretion.

The new attendance policy is derived from a points system which has changed several times within the last 3 months since the program was first initiated that many employees feel suits Autozone only and appears to be used as a bullying and harassment tactic in hard economic times.

The only recourse is full attendance for 90 days ( 3 months ) then the first points to be given will be erased leaving the others to ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''hang''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''. Although this may suit some, no one knows what will happen within that 90 ( 3 months ) day period that points may be eliminated. ex. illness, vehicle problems, family issues etc.

Being that Autozone has no first hand knowledge of ones medical situation (accept as described on the employment application) or of any situation before the start of ones daily work schedule I feel the attendance policy is in violation of ones right to work among others and cannot be tolerated.

Threats have also been made by management that if any more points are obtained for any reason that ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''people will be fired''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''.

Possible CivilNatural Rights Violation -
Regulating personal-private speech. No ''''swearing'''', if caught employee is terminated. (words have not been defined by corporate)

Was once again written up a week and a half later for taking a tuesday and a wednesday off due to illness (strep throat).

I do not remember waving any of my rights and have not seen a signed contract that says otherwise.

If you're also a victim of this company, then submit your own Autozone complaint letter
