i had gotten my mirena i u d in november of 2008 at my 6 week post partum check up, i have been through tremendus pain cramping that brings me to my knee's and my periods stay for two weeks and i have awfull mood swings, i have hasd it foe eight months ,plenty of time for me to gt used to it, . finally after catching pid it had to be removed surgically under general anestesia, the strings ended up in my cervix wrapped around the i u d , i hate this product and do not recomend it to ay one, i wish the woulld tyake it off the market, i wanted carefree birthcontrol not a pelvic infection and pain . thank you for reading my post.
