Direct TV Broadband - Termination fee for Cancellation of Services
I moved into a home in Greeley, Colorado. I signed up for Direct TV for what I thought was one year. They have a deceptive practice in that they don't mention anything about being in a two year contract. This was never stated to me. I told them I was only going to be there for one year. I paid my fees on time for the entire year and then had to move out of the home and now they are trying to charge me 300 for termination of service. I had no idea I was under a 2 year contract with them. I want to know if there are others out there like me and if there is anything that I can do. It is deceptive in that I was not told up front about being in this long term contract. Help Please.
