Direct Tv - Rip off
I have had Direct Tv for approx 4 yrs. Since day one, I have had nothing but trouble with my receivers and equipment. On july Sep 08 , they had to send me a 'new receiver' . Now I want to cancel the service but they claim that when you order or in my case have to receive another receiver due it the old one failing, that starts a new contract of 2 yrs even though I was Never told this. They have extended it without my permission. So, now I am stuck paying 80.00 monthly . I will have to pay off the rest off my'contract from now until Sep 10 if I want to cancel, plus extra early cancellation fees stacked on by Direct Tv as per them. I have been researching this problem on line and see there are thousands similar complaints against this so called company? Are there any Arkansas class action lawsuits going on, I am unable to locate them in my state?
