Lowe''s - injury over time pay
I was an employee of Lowe's for little over three years. I worked my way up to department mgr. and right before all this happen I was in line to enter what they call the m.t.p. zone mgr. class.
My work record is exelent, on april 14 2009 i went into the h.r. office to report that i had injured my back the h.r. mgr. told me to come back at a later time.
the next day or so I went back to her and told her again I need to get my back checked out. She then ask me if I had insurance through the company I said yes.
She then told me to wait till I got off work then go see a doctor and get back to her later and let her know what was going on .
On Friday April 21, 2009 I was called into the office by the store mgr. and the oparations mgr. they went on to ask me why I was working off the clock I then told her that she knew why this is comon every week during the first of the week on to Friday they watch the clock and everybodys time so that nobody goes over 39 or 40 hours.
She then tried to deny that this happens I was not sure if anyone was listen on the speaker phone or not I was wondering why she would deny this happens every week.
She went on to say we don't know why you where working off the clock but after adding all the time up Lowe's has lost 4 hours to me and she then stated that I was stealing time, and then told me to go back out on the floor for a few hours and she would see what corp. office wanted to do about this matter. I then ask if I could talk to corp. office she said no!!
Well a few hours later they called me back into the office and real fast said that corp. was going to let me go.
I then walked out.
Well prior to all this a few weeks back I went to the store mgr. and told her that there was another mgr. dealing drugs in the store she then said that she would take care of it. Well a few days later I heard that the store mgr. and this same employee that deals drugs them and their spouces go out together all the time. Well I knew then something bad was going to happen to me and my job. Long story there was a lady that work at this store last year and then all of a sudden she was transfured to another store in Winter Garden. Everyone was wondering why she was transfured, well come to find out our store mgr. and the lady that got transfured had a gay relationship going on and living together, well 2 mgr's that have a relationship and live together are not alound to work in the same store but, they did work together for a few months but nobody knew it untill after the fact.
Back to the over time this is something that would happen all the time every week or every other week, if you were lucky they did not come to you and ask you to work a few hours off the clock. Well this is my story, And I have not seen a doctor yet nor have they call to see if I have.
