My account was closed over a year ago. I received a 1.95 charge from PeoplePC on my March American
Express account. When I phoned representative stated it was for an e-mail upgrade. I informed him account
was closed, but he then said he would close it, asking many questions about my experience with PeoplePC
and why I discontinued. He then said he would close account(already closed with no maill) I contacted
American Express and they d the charges. Now I received a bill from this internet company for
1.95. I realize this is not a large amount, but this is still wrong and unauthorized use of my credit card.
I have phoned customer service twice and wrote a letter also. I do resent this practice as very unethical
and having my credit card on file all this time and submiting this charge. It appears they are trying to
create business with former customers. This is totally wrong as far as I am concerned.
