bayer... mirena - My unique situation with mirena
i have had the IUD for two years on May 5 2009. When i first got the mirena i experienced heavy and light bleeding for six months i went to my doctor and told him what the deal was and after a routine check up he told me everything was fine . Six months after I had the iud put in the bleeding finally slowed down and eventually just stopped . I thought cool this is what the doctor said would happen and I didn't think anything of it after about four months the bleeding returned first very heavy and then just spotting as of Nov 28 ,2008 i have been having problems with light headedness to the point of passing out and exteme naseasness , heavy bleeding no bleeding thinking im pregnant and cramping to the point that i can not get up a vaginal discharge loss of sexual stimulation mood swings to the point that it was severley messing with my life i have quit two jobs because of pain and being sick as well as the moodiness i was experiencing . For the last four weeks i have been so sick it seriously feels like im pregnant i have yet to find out the answer for im waiting to take the test within the next week.. I had called a place to see if i could take a free pregnancy test and told them i have a mirena iud and the lady explained to me that there is a recall on the mirena i want to know if this is true and where i can go and get this awful thing removed free of cost no one explained any of this to me and then i wasn't even notified that there was anything wrong with the device just that it was a good thing for me to do since i had two boys by the age 18 and that this would put ahold on the pregnancies and that iw ouldn't have to worry about anything if anyone has any information my email is asarah41@yahoo.com thank you and bless all of you
